Frequently Asked Questions

Registration

How do I register for programs?

Each program page shows when registration is open. Returning EPIC players can use their existing profile; new players create one. Follow the steps and make sure you finalize the form at the end. Academy registration is by invitation — see the Academy page.

What is the refund policy?
  • Email refund requests to Jojowsoccer@gmail.com (Academy Director Joanne Bray).
  • Refunds (pro-rated once a program has started) are issued for medical reasons with a doctor's note.
  • Special personal circumstances will be considered.
  • Allow up to 3 weeks for processing.
  • No partial refunds for individual missed sessions.
When should we register?

As soon as programs open — early registration helps us build groups and teams.

Teams Program

What is the Teams Program?

In spring and summer we add the Teams Program — a developmental competitive phase. With more chances to play outdoors in jamborees, exhibitions and tournaments, we use games as a tool in the development process. Learn more on the Teams page.

Do players stay in their teams only?

No. Because all coaches teach the same consistent methodology, players can train and play between teams. We avoid siloed teams whose only connection is the same kit — flexibility and fluid movement have always been central to EPIC's success.

Schedule & Games

Does Timberwolves FC play games or attend tournaments?

Absolutely! Games bring joy — and they're the exam that tests what we've learned. Why they matter:

  • Exciting travel and cultural opportunities
  • Quality competition that can be hard to find in the North
  • Consistent travel and game experiences players remember for years
  • They're the highlights of club soccer
  • For older players, preparation for university play and exposure to college coaches
  • Unity as players train and travel together
When do the programs begin and end?

After Labour Day, the Fall Academy runs until mid-December, led by the Technical Team. The Winter Academy runs January to the SX Cup in early April, with festivals and jamborees throughout. After the SX Cup, the games-based Teams Program runs until Labour Day weekend, with our community coaches playing a major role.

Uniforms & Kit

Do players need to buy training kit?

Players receive a training shirt with registration if they don't already have one. We use green, grey and yellow shirts, and often assign a colour to each training day (e.g. Monday = grey, Thursday = yellow) so the shirts can replace pinnies.

Do we purchase uniforms for games?

Usually training shirts are used for games. When tournaments require numbered shirts, Timberwolves FC issues each team a set of uniforms, collected after the event.
